Note: Estimates are based on the following numbers of respondents for NSW: 1997 (1,861), 1998 (1,743), 2002 (1,176), 2003 (1,247), 2004 ( 812), 2005 ( 933), 2006 ( 642), 2007 ( 580). The indicator includes those with a Kessler 10 (K10) score of 22 or above. The K10 is a 10-item questionnaire that measures the level of psychological distress in the most recent 4-week period.
