Medical Locum Agency Audit Guidelines and Information Session
NSW Health is pleased to announce that an information session on Audit Guidelines to assist with the implementation of the NSW Health Standards and Conditions for the provision of locum medical officers to the NSW Health Services will be held on:

Representatives of Medical Locum Agencies and their nominated auditor are invited to attend this information session. Area Health Service representatives have also been invited.
NSW Health has developed a publication called 'Medical Locum Agency: Audit Guidelines' to assist the 3rd party Audit process required by the 17th August 2009.
This publication will be released at the information session and available on the NSW Health website after the 7th May 2009.
The information session will provide an opportunity to:
1. Inform medical locum agencies and their nominated auditor of the NSW Health requirements prior to the 17th August 2009.
2. Distribute the NSW Health Audit Guidelines.
3. Discuss details of the audit process, timelines and requirements.
4. Clarify aspects of compliance and partial compliance.
5. Respond to questions.
