Consultation
As a statewide outreach team, ADAHPT aims to build the capacity of staff in local agencies and organisations working with people living with HIV/AIDS and complex needs. ADAHPT staff welcome approaches by other staff and agencies seeking professional consultation. Skills within the service include social work, psychiatric nursing, welfare work and clinical psychology. Specialist assistance with case management, carer support, neuropsychological assessment, respite, supported housing and assistance with specialised medical assessment is also offered. ADAHPT staff are available to meet with staff in their local area in order to develop working partnerships and to provide the appropriate service required to meet the needs of individual clients and service providers.
This consultation is available to clients and agencies across New South Wales and can be available at short notice. This can also be undertaken using Telehealth.
