Generous provisions are available, including:
- Annual leave - 4 weeks with an increased allowance of up to 6 weeks leave with 8 weeks pay for eligible Ambulance Officers

- Parental leave - 1 week paid leave
- Sick leave - 10 days per annum accruable
- Long service leave - 2 months after 10 years (accessible pro-rata after 7 years)
