Next, contact the person nominated under the 'Contact for Job Enquiries' section of the advertisement you are interested in. They will be able to provide you with more information on the position and how you access an application kit. Use this information to tailor your application to suit the requirements of the job.

When you apply for a job with NSW Health you need to communicate your skills and experiences clearly and effectively. For more information, suggestions and basic templates review 'Applying for a Health Job' available from the website of Health Jobs.

Application

Remember, your application is more than just your résumé. It is your chance to put a claim on the position. So be sure to include records of your qualifications, references and consent forms as listed in the application kit.

Also be sure to research any information about the role that is available and carefully address each of the selection criteria. Once you have done this, you can develop your résumé and put together your application. It is also good practice to include a brief covering letter as an introduction.
