Financial
The awards contain the basic conditions of your employment including pay rates, overtime, penalty rates, secondment allowances, etc. Currently most Oral Health professionals are remunerated through the Health Professional and Medical Salaries (State) Award [PDF, 226k].

Generous provisions are available, including:
- Annual leave - 4 weeks with increased allowance of up to one week (shift work)
- Maternity/Adoption leave - 14 weeks paid leave
- Parental leave - 1 week paid leave
- Sick leave - 10 days per annum accruable
- Long service leave - 2 months after 10 years (accessible pro-rata after 7 years)
