Capacity Building Infrastructure Grants Forum:
Improving translation of research into policy and practice: how can the CBIG Program contribute?
A Forum for researchers, policy-makers and practitioners was held on 24th March 2011 to:
- foster links between NSW Health and CBIG-funded organisations and
- identify future NSW Health directions and potential research contributions for CBIG organisations.
Directors of the six CBIG organisations presented briefly on the research of their organisation, how it contributes to NSW Health policies and programs and how CBIG funds contribute to their work. Several Department of Health Managers presented on emerging priorities for their part of the Department. Discussion focussed on current and potential links between CBIG funded organisations and the work of the Department.
