What is AU RED?
AU RED is a web-based database used to track and manage the progress of NEAF and SSA applications.
Who has access to AU RED?
All NSW Health HREC Executive Officers and Research Governance Officers have access to AU RED, as do staff of the Research, Ethics and Public Health Training Branch of NSW Department of Health. Researchers and sponsors cannot access AU RED.
How do I get an AU RED account?
By sending an email request to: healthethics@doh.health.nsw.gov.au An account will be created for you and you will be provided with a secure login and password once you have signed a confidentiality agreement.
Do I have to install any new software to use AU RED?
No. AU RED is web-based. Provided you have access to the Internet, you can access AU RED using a secure login and password.
