FrostbiteFrostbite occurs when the skin and tissue underneath the skin freeze. It can develop during prolonged exposure to cold weather at or below 0°C. Nose, ears, cheeks, chin, fingers and toes are most at risk. Frostbite can lead to permanent damage. |
