Network Structure
The work of the Gastroenterology Network is led by an Executive Committee which is Co-Chaired by Brian Jones (Gastroenterologist) and Teri Mrena (Consumer Participant).
The Executive Committee which includes doctors, nurses, allied health clinicians and consumers meets regularly. Representatives from the NSW Department of Health, Cancer Institute NSW and Clinical Excellence Commission are invited to attend all meetings.
A number of working groups have been established to review different areas of clinical concern.
The Network has just under 200 members and includes 180 clinicians, 3 consumers and invited guests from Area Health Services, the NSW Department of Health, Clinical Excellence Commission and the Cancer Institute NSW.
