Gynaecological Oncology Network Education
Patients across the state benefit from clinicians receiving specialised education. Regular study days are held for all members of multi-disciplinary teams. Nursing delegates from all Area Health Services attend the Annual Nurses Study Day.
There are also ad hoc forums open to all clinicians affiliated with Gynaecological Oncology. The successful 2006 Forum was presented in association with the Sydney Institute of Palliative Medicine.
An accredited e-learning course on psychosocial support for primary carers has been developed and accredited by the RACGP for participating GPs to accrue Continuing Professional Development points.
