GMCT Initiatives

The GMCT currently manages two types of clinical initiatives.

Specialty Service Networks

have annual recurrent funding with a full time or part time Network Manager. Some of the Networks are well established, having received funding from as early as 2002 and employed a number of staff to carry out the objectives of the Network.

Special Projects

are managed by the staff of the Secretariat because

• they are in development
• they function as an umbrella group
• they are short term projects.

Current special projects are: Consumer Participation, Aged Care and Metropolitan Hospitals.
