Nuclear Medicine
In August 2002 the Nuclear Medicine Committee was formed to meet regularly and contribute input to the (then) GMTT mainly in an advocacy role. It now focuses on patient outcomes through:
- Clinician Education
- Continued deployment of state of the art equipment and techniques
- Quality and safety initiatives
- Better networking and communication
There are established links with Australian and New Zealand Society of Nuclear Medicine (ANZSNM), Australian and New Zealand Association of Physicians in Nuclear Medicine (ANZAPNM) and Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists (RANZCR).
