The linked table shows percentages of booked day-of-surgery admissions, which include urgent, semi-urgent and non-urgent surgery. The hospitals are grouped by Area Health Service.
The following graph shows that there has been a large increase over the last few years in the percentage of procedures carried out as day of surgery admission in NSW public hospitals.
