Advising your patients

Patients may undergo a period of anxiety when they need to see a specialist for surgery. See What to ask the specialist for the questions that patients might ask the specialist. If your patient does not have access to the Internet, you can print out the questions for them and mark the ones you think are relevant. After they have seen the specialist, they can follow up with you for further clarification, if necessary.
