Mothers and Babies 2014

This seventeenth annual report documents findings on the number of births across NSW and provides information on recent trends in the health of mothers and babies in NSW, maternity services provided by hospitals, the health of Aboriginal mothers and babies, the health of mothers born overseas and their babies as well as congenital conditions in babies. 

Information for the report has been obtained from the NSW Perinatal Data Collection, the NSW Register of Congenital Conditions and from reviews of perinatal deaths carried out by the NSW Maternal and Perinatal Committee.
