NSW Health 2009 Aboriginal Health Awards
Established in 2004, the Awards acknowledge the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations to the improvement of the health outcomes of Aboriginal people in NSW.
This year's Awards ceremony, sponsored by Baxter Healthcare, was held on the evening of Monday, the 6th of July in Sydney to mark the start of National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee Week.
Nominations were received on behalf of individuals, teams or organisations deserving of recognition for their achievements in improving Aboriginal health outcomes.
