NSW Health 2009 Aboriginal Health Awards

Established in 2004, the Awards acknowledge the contribution of individuals, teams and organisations to the improvement of the health outcomes of Aboriginal people in NSW.

This year's Awards ceremony, sponsored by Baxter Healthcare, will be held on the evening of Monday, the 6th of July in Sydney to mark the start of National Aboriginal and Islander Day Observance Committee Week.

Nominations are invited for individuals, teams or organisations deserving of recognition for their achievements in improving Aboriginal health outcomes.

1. Excellence in Program and Service Delivery
2. Innovation in Aboriginal Health
3. Strengthening Aboriginal Families and Children
4. Working Together to Make a Difference
5. Enterprise and Resourcefulness
6. Excellence in Workforce
7. Innovation in Chronic Care
8. Gail May Award
9. Director-General's Award for Aboriginal Health *
10. Minister's Award for Aboriginal Health *
11. Hall of Fame Award

*No nominations will be received for categories 9 and 10, as these are awarded at the discretion of the Director-General of NSW Health and the NSW Minister for Health respectively.
