Terms of Reference

The NSW General Practice Council (GPC) will:

  • Provide strategic advice on the development, implementation and monitoring of specific health policy, program and funding initiatives.
  • Identify and promote linkages between general practice and the NSW public health system.
  • Provide strategic advice on key and emerging issues relating to general practice in NSW.
  • Promote formal and informal communication and collaboration on matters of mutual interest to Council members and NSW Health.
  • Promote the role and achievement of NSW General Practice Council members
