Privacy Issues
My Health Record belongs to you, who choose the information that goes into it. As health information is personal, doctors and other health care providers cannot access your My Health Record without your permission.
Ownership and use of My Health Record is voluntary. If you decide not to use My Health Record, the care will still continue as usual.
If you lose My Health Record and it is found, the 'free-post' return address provided on the front cover of My Health Record directs the finder to return it to the NSW Health Department. If the record is returned to the NSW Health Department, it will be posted back to the owner's home address.
