National E-Health Strategy Survey
The National E-Health and Information Principal Committee (NEHIPC), a subcommittee of the Australian Health Ministers' Advisory Council (AHMAC), recently commissioned Deloitte to develop a national e-health strategy.
NEHIPC is responsible for providing advice on e-health and information strategies, and promoting collaboration between the Commonwealth, States and Territories to implement these strategies.
The project involves the development of a vision and plan for e-health in consultation with a range of key stakeholders across the country, including consumers, clinicians, health service administrators, academics/researchers, IT vendors, government and relevant other service industries.
An electronic survey has been launched to provide an opportunity for any interested persons to participate in the development of the national e-health strategy. We are interested in wide-ranging advice on key issues, barriers, capabilities and lessons learned to date, which will be used to help inform future priorities and initiatives for e-health in Australia.
Participants may also attach supporting information at the end of the survey before submitting their response.
