Radiation Oncology Treatment Centres in NSW
A number of new Regional Cancer Care Centres (RCC), with funding by both the Commonwealth and NSW Governments, have been approved. These new centres are the New England and North West RCC at Tamworth (scheduled to commence in late 2012); the Shoalhaven RCC at Nowra (scheduled to commence in 2013); and, the Central Coast RCC at Gosford (scheduled to commence in 2013). There are also a number of services which are being expanded including additional machines at Port Macquarie, Coffs Harbour and Wollongong.
