How to Get Cleared
The NSW Department of Health issues Clearance for Clinical Placements Cards to students who attend educational institutions in NSW, interstate and overseas and who wish to undertake clinical placements in NSW Health facilities.
A clearance takes from 2 to 6 weeks to process. Once it has been processed, your coordinator will contact you and issue you with a letter and the clearance card (see a sample) from the NSW Department of Health.
