Districts and specialty health networks can deliver the Essential Youth Healthcare Skills workshop to build the capacity of their health workforce to provide high-quality healthcare for young people.

The Essential Youth Healthcare Skills workshop is a high-quality, evidence-informed, one-day workshop for healthworkers. The workshop is for anyone who provides a health service for young people aged 12 to 24, and particularly suits those health service providers who sometimes see young people but do not see themselves as youth health experts.

Local trainers and youth health experts within local health districts and specialty health networks can deliver the workshop. Resources to deliver the workshop are available in the Training Manual.
