Murrumbidgee Local Health District (MLHD) is located in southern NSW across 125,243 square kilometres.

Wiradjuri, Yorta Yorta, Baraba Baraba, Wemba Wemba Perrepa Perrepa, Nari Nari and Muthi Muthi peoples are the traditional custodians of the land.

In 2019 the estimated population was 245,196 residents, and over the decade to 2031, the overall population is projected to increase to 246,022. 

MLHD operates 33 public hospitals, 12 community health centres, employs over 3,800 staff and is supported by 33 Local Health Advisory Committees and hundreds of volunteers.
