2018 Transition to Professional Practice recruitment (TPP)
Applicants who intend complete their initial nursing or midwifery degree between 1 June 2017 and 31 May 2018 are eligible to apply for the NSW Health 2018 Transition to Professional Practice recruitment. Applications will only be accepted through this site.

The 2018 Transition to Professional Practice handbook
provides detailed information on the application and recruitment processes for graduate nursing and midwifery positions in NSW Health in 2018. Applicants are encouraged to download a copy of the Handbook as it will assist in your application for employment in NSW Health in 2018.

Although applicants apply through a centralised online application process, the recruitment, selection and employment of graduates is undertaken by Local Health Districts/Networks and hospitals. Information pertaining to participating health facilities, specialty programs, intake dates, interview location and information, and/or general employment enquiries can be found on the Employers links and contacts page.
Students who elect to undertake an Honours program and do not apply through the TPP in their final year of study, or apply and withdraw before interview, are eligible to apply the following year.
Students who apply and attend an interview in their final year of study (prior to Honours) are ineligible to apply for the Transition to Professional Practice recruitment the following year.
