Studies can be undertaken on a full time or part time basis and some are offered by distance and other flexible education models. Continuing EducationContinuing education includes seminars and conferences for which no educational award is granted. Employers provide some as "inservice" education and participants may receive an informal award called a Statement of Attainment. Further Education for Enrolled NursesEnrolled nurses may choose to undertake further study with their employing organisation, The College of Nursing or through tertiary studies. An enrolled nurse who wishes to become a Registered Nurse may receive credit for qualifications and experience when undertaking an undergraduate nursing degree at university and may also be eligible for undergraduate scholarship funding from the Nursing and Midwifery Office.
