Further Education for Registered Nurses / Further Education for Enrolled Nurses

Further Education for Registered Nurses

Further education for registered nurses includes continuing education, postgraduate and other formal award courses that may be offered through universities, The College of Nursing, TAFE, Karitane and Tresillian, as well as hospital or Area Health Service based clinical specialty courses. Studies can be undertaken on a full time or part time basis and some are offered by distance and other flexible education models.

For further information see the websites for TAFE, The College of Nursing, Karitane, Tresillian and universities.

Continuing Education

Continuing education includes seminars and conferences for which no educational award is granted. A range of organisations including specialty and professional organisations, TAFE, The College of Nursing and universities offer others.
