Midwifery Workforce Forums

This forum was established to explore a range of issues affecting the midwifery workforce and was attended by 50 midwifery clinicians, managers, educators and academics from around the state. Professor Kathy Eagar from the University of Wollongong facilitated the forum.
The information gathered at the forum informs a range of strategies and policies relevant to workforce planning and development across the state. In addition a number of working groups will be convened by NaMO to further explore some of the key recommendations arising from the forum.
