Practice Development Forums

The second NSW Practice Development Forum was held on 4 March 2008 at the University of Technology, Sydney. Keynote speakers included Ms Anna Thornton, Director of Nursing, Prince of Wales Hospital and Professor Ken Walsh from the University of Wollongong. The forum incorporated presentations by keynote speakers and clinicians undertaking practice development work, plus a number of participative workshops relating to practice development activities.

NaMO hosted the inaugural NSW Practice Development Forum on 16 February 2007 at the Royal Hospital for Women. Adjunct Professor Debra Thoms, Chief Nursing Officer introduced an exciting forum that afforded clinicians and practice developers across NSW the opportunity to share practice development work that is currently being undertaken in a range of practice settings.
