The Medical Devices Fund (MDF) is a competitive technology development and commercialisation program. In the 2017-2018 financial year the Fund has over $8 million available to help support investment in the development and commercialisation of medical devices and related technologies.

Applications for funding follow a three stage process:

  1. Online self-assessment to determine eligibility and commercial opportunity
  2. Preliminary application form
  3. Full application form

All applicants are required to complete the online self-assessment survey online prior to submitting a preliminary application form. Applicants can self-determine whether they proceed from stage 1 to stage 2.
