Peer Selection

NSW Health is conducting a peer selection process for eligible clinicians in accordance with Part 7 of Local Health Districts Interim By-laws (Model By Laws) to represent their peers in Hospital Clinical Councils.

The peer selection process will allow direct appointment of peer selected nurses, allied health practitioners and junior medical practitioners to Hospital Clinical Councils.  Peer selected members will also be eligible for appointment by the Minister to Local Health District Boards.

The initial peer selection process will be centrally managed via a web-based system.
