Burials - Shallow Burial

Summary
This document provides the policy to be observed by Public Health Unit Environmental Health Officers when in receipt of an application for Shallow Burial of a body in a coffin less than the depth below the natural surface level permitted by Clause 20, Public Health (Disposal of Bodies) Regulation 2002. This policy directive will provide the conditions on which approvals may be granted for Shallow Burials.
