Summary
The NSW Health, Transport for Health (July 2006) policy integrates all non-emergency health related transport service provision throughout NSW Area Health Services into one program. Transport for Health is aimed at supporting Area Health Services to be more strategic in identifying, consolidating and integrating a full range of transport services and resources that can be made available to transport disadvantaged patients to enhance their access to health care.
