Summary
This policy directive aims to assist all NSW Health staff in understanding the legislative changes and their obligations in regard to making and responding to prenatal reports. Prenatal reports act as an extra risk factor that must be taken into account when assessing risk of harm to a child. Section 248 information sharing provisions are also extended to information regarding an unborn child who is the subject of a prenatal report.
