Summary
This policy directive sets out the requirements that must be met for a Human Research Ethics Committee to undertake ethical review of research proposals for individuals or organisations external to the public health system. It contains a pro forma agreement between a public health organisation and an external entity, setting out the terms and conditions upon which such ethical review may be conducted.
