Summary
Provides information on leave administration matters such as how leave counts as service for the accrual of entitlements, how leave should be recorded and payment of leave during periods of higher duties. The policy directive was reissued September 2008 to include new provisions at paragraph 10, regarding nurses and midwives covered by the Public Health System Nurses' and Midwives' (State) Award. This policy directive is included as a chapter of the Leave Matters Manual.
