Summary
For the purposes of quality assurance, cost effectiveness and standardisation of process, the NSW Department of Health has identified, through the tender process HS013-2007, a panel of commercial recruitment agencies known as the Panel of Overseas Recruitment Agencies (PORA). When engaging the services of a recruitment agency to carry out any Overseas Recruitment, employers must use a member of the PORA. This policy outlines the roles of the employer, the PORA, Health Support Services and the NSW Department of Health, in the process of Overseas Recruitment and the implementation of this policy by those parties.
