Programs—Regulatory Program

The Regulatory Program supports, maintains and oversees any Departmental and Ministerial responsibilities that arise under the Mental Health Act 1990 (NSW), the Mental Health (Criminal Procedure) Act 1990 (NSW), and other associated legislation.

The Program is also responsible for identifying amendments in the legislation in order to facilitate improved practice and enhance the care and treatment of people living with mental illness.
