In developing the NSW Health Department Consensus Guidelines
for the Clinical Management of Diabetes Mellitus, a
decision was made to rigorously review the current scientific
evidence available. This document contains the reviews
of the evidence relating to the clinical management
guidelines on:
- Blood Glucose Level
- Diabetic Eye Disease
- Diabetic Foot Problems
Similar reviews of evidence will be produced for the
evidence relating to the guidelines on weight, blood
pressure, lipids and diabetic nephropathy. These reviews
will be updated yearly as new evidence becomes available.
