Commuity capacity index

Community capacity indexCommunity Capacity Index - PDF (234Kb)

Robert Bush, Jo Dower and Allyson Mutch

This index is designed to help identify the extent of capacity available within a network of organisations and groups at the local level. For the purposes of this index, community capacity is a collection of characteristics and resources which, when combined, improve the ability of a community to recognise, evaluate and address key problems.

Before using the Community Capacity Index it is important to read the accompanying manual (below). The documents are designed to be complementary and each should be examined thoroughly prior to any attempts to apply the index.
