Work related injury

The National Occupational Health and Safety Commission (NOHSC) produces an online queriable database called NOSI – NOHSC Online Statistics Interactive.

This database contains workers’ compensation statistics, based on the National Data Set. The database can produce a variety of reports on the number, incidence and frequency of workers’ compensation claims in Australia.

Note: these statistics largely exclude those workers who are self employed or for whom no workers’ compensation claim is made.

The Bulletins include information on fatalities, workplace injuries, occupational diseases, non-workplace injuries, lost time injuries and diseases, and payments.

Note: that these statistics largely exclude those workers who are self employed or for whom no workers’ compensation claim is made.

Statistical Bulletins can be viewed in the publications section at: www.workcover.nsw.gov.au
