Nutrition Network

The Centre for Health Promotion at NSW Health supports a state-wide network of public health nutrition professionals who work in the NSW Area Health Services.

The Nutrition Network plays an important role in health promotion in NSW. While a representative from each area health service attends several face-to-face meetings throughout the year, the network is connected on a daily basis for discussion and information through a listserv. The network plays a valuable role in supporting public health nutrition workers through professional development sessions, providing networking opportunities, and ensuring a mechanism for information transfer and consultation processes between health promotion policy makers and health promotion practitioners.

If you would like further information on the Nutrition Network, please contact the Manager, Nutrition and Physical Activity Branch, on philip.vita@doh.health.nsw.gov.au or (02) 9391 9814.
