New South Wales Population Health Surveys
The following population health surveys provide ongoing information on health behaviours, health status and other factors that influence the health of the people of NSW.
Adult Population Health Survey *Interviews currently being conducted
The NSW Adult Health Survey, is collected through a telephone survey of about 15,000 people from all over NSW. This survey is conducted between February and December each year.

School Students Health Behaviours Survey
The NSW School Students Health Behaviours Survey is conducted in NSW schools every 3 years to provide information about the health behaviours and attitudes of secondary school students.

The NSW Child Health Survey, is collected through a telephone survey of about 15,000 people from all over NSW. This survey is conducted between February and December each year.

The Ministry encourages people who are contacted to participate in the surveys. Before analysis and reporting, all data are de-identified. No information is published or released in a form that could identify an individual. The results are of great value to the community in planning how to improve the health of people in NSW and local health services.
