Boils and Impetigo

A boil is an infection of the skin, usually caused by Staphylococcus bacteria.

Impetigo is an infection of the skin caused by either Staphylococcus or Streptococcus bacteria.

Notification

Boils and Impetigo are not notifiable a disease in NSW.
