Evaluation of the NSW Aboriginal Vascular Health Program 2000-2003: Building blocks for sustainable change

Summary

An external evaluation of the NSW Aboriginal Vascular Health Program reviewing the overall strategic direction of the program was completed in July 2003. The findings strongly support the retention of the program and its current strategic direction. A set of recommendations is made for areas of action to build on the foundational work already undertaken. The evaluators contend that this prgram offers key areas of learning in the development and implementation of new programs in indigenous health development that are useful to other program planners.
