Public Health Act 1991, Part 4, Microbial Control

Summary

Part 4, Public Health Act, 1991, was promulgated to regulate the installation, operation and maintenance of those kinds of systems to prevent or inhibit the growth of microorganisms that are liable to cause Legionnaires' disease and other diseases. The most significant systems controlled are water-cooling systems and warm water systems. Part 4 is complemented by the Public Health (Microbial Control) Regulation 2000
