SummaryDomestic violence is a significant public health issue, affecting the physical, psychological and the social health of women and children. Routine screening of women is a prevention and early intervention strategy. This report documents a one-month snapshot of routine screening as at November 2004. It repeats the snapshot conducted in November 2003 and provides valuable information for NSW Health regarding the level and some outcomes of screening.
