NSW Tobacco Action Plan - Background Paper

Summary

The NSW Tobacco Action Plan 2005-2009 sets out the NSW Government's commitment to the prevention and reduction of tobacco-related harm in NSW. It builds on the achievements of previous Tobacco Action Plans and control.

The Plan is divided into 2 sections. The first section provides the background and evidence base for future action. The second part - A Vision for the Future - outlines the goal and objectives of the Plan and provides details of the programs and activities that will be instigated during the 2005-2009 period.
