NSW Mothers and Babies 2005

Summary

This report on mothers and babies in NSW combines the annual reports of the NSW Midwives Data Collection, the Neonatal Intensive Care Units' Data Collection, and the NSW Birth Defects Register. It contains information on maternal and neonatal deaths reviewed by the NSW Maternal and Perinatal Committee.

The report incudes a full chapter on recent trends, and separate chapters covering Health Area of mother's residence, Aboriginal mothers and babies, mother's country of birth, birth defects and individual hospitals.
