Unregistered Health Practitioners Code of Conduct - Impact Assessment Statement

Section 10AM of the Public Health Act 1991 provides for the making of a code of conduct for the provision of health services by unregistered health practitioners. Before such a code of conduct can be made the Minister for Health is required to place the draft code of conduct and an impact assessment statement for the code on public exhibition for at least 21 days.

Submissions on the content of the draft code of conduct will be accepted until 5.00 pm on Friday 29 February 2008. Further enquiries should be directed to the Department of Health's Legal and Legislative Services Branch on (02) 9391 9606 or by email to legalmail@doh.health.nsw.gov.au
